ConnectedYou is looking for a motivated, software engineer with 2+ years non-academic software engineering experience, passionate about having code in production. ConnectedYou is building an IoT orchestration platform across solution providers. The platform acts a bit like an integration hub, pulling and pushing data to the spokes.

Required Skills

• Exposure to Scrum or Agile software development processes
• Self managing, comfortable with remote working
• Desire to learn
• Basic project management

Required Technical Experience

• Front-end development with HTML CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX
• Comfortable with HTML template languages like jinja2, django, ssi.
• User interface design / experience
• Exposure to server web frameworks / working with teams.
• Understanding of web performance optimization
• Deployment experience using asset minification, compression, versioning
• Exposure to Content Delivery Networks
• Exposure to Python programming
• 2+ years of programming experience in any language.
• GIT version control

Useful skills

• Consuming APIs over http using XML/REST /Json.
• MySQL Database
• Linux
• AWS
• Python
